New Market Summer Reading |

Join us at the New Market Area Library for our Summer Reading Kickoff on Thursday, June 20 at 10 am. "I Dig Big Machines" is our theme, and we'll have a chance to get up close with big machines in the library parking lot. There will also be stories, treats, and giveaways for each child. We hope to see you there! |

Join us at the County Library on Thursday, June 27 at 6:30 pm for a unique Summer Reading program. Staff from Critters and Conservation of West Virginia will visit, bringing along some special guests. Meet a parrot, lizard, python, hedgehog, and cockroaches, and learn all about these critters and their habitats. We hope to see you there! |

Beginning Tuesday, June 25 at 3:00 pm--and every Tuesday through August 6--Miss Vicki and her pups will visit the County Library. Enjoy dog stories and crafts, and practice your reading skills with some gentle friends. |

Calling all Olympians! As part of the Teen Summer Reading program, the County Library will host a "Mario and Sonic Olympic Games" Tournament on Wednesday, June 26 at 2:30. Everyone who participates will receive a prize, and overall winners will receive trophies and gift cards. You may register in-person at the County Library, or via our online registration form here. Let the games begin!

It's that time again! Donna Smith will be collecting items for the annual Yard Crawl every Saturday from 11 am-2 pm, beginning June 1. Collections will take place in the Ground Level Retail Space at the Edinburg Renaissance Bed and Breakfast, located at 212 North Main Street. Donate your good, clean items to benefit the library's Teen programs, and get a head start by shopping early! |

Devoted to local history resources, the Shenandoah Room at the County Library is open during regular business hours. Please note: Material held in the Archives Room can be made available only from Monday-Friday. The Shenandoah Room operates primarily as a self-service facility, with assistance available according to the following schedule:
