Advises Technology Coordinator & Library Director in following areas: - Foundation Technology & Training funds
- County Operating County Budget & CIP requests
Functions as resource and sounding board for Technology Coordinator & Library Director
Assists Technology Coordinator & Library Director with technology planning and implementation: - Network
- Telecommunications
- Hardware
- Software
- Related Equipment (multimedia projectors, digital cameras, scanners, video recorders, etc.)
Report to Library Board in following areas: - Policy & Budget recommendations
- Strategic Planning
- Ad hoc issues brought to committee by Library Director
Membership:
Director recruits three members from library community based on their expertise and knowledge of the library system - Library Director
- County Computer Specialist
- Library Technology Coordinators
- Trustee representative
- Additional staff as appropriate
Meetings - Called by Library Director as needed
- Meet at least every six months
