Quilt Fundraiser

On December 16, 2013, Tom Keveny of Edinburg was selected as the winner of the beautiful quilt made by members of the Shenandoah Valley Appliqué Society. Below right, Society President Jan Hood presents the quilt to the lucky winner.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets for the quilt raffle totaled $712. Below, Jan Hood presents a check to Library Director Sandy Whitesides. The Appliqué Society designated the money be spent on children’s literacy programs at the library.  Thank you to all who supported their effort!
